About Me
Hey! My name is Sam and I’m a mixed media artist, graphic designer, website developer, and photographer based in the Washington, DC area.
I have always had a creative and artistic passion , and I finally decided to make it my full-time career.
It all started with photography. My grandmother gave me a pink Nikon point and shoot camera for Christmas when I was 8 years old. I took that camera everywhere and captured the ever-changing world around me. Since then, my interests have expanded in many other creative directions. Over the years, I started experimenting with manipulating my photographs, digitally and manually, learning Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and finally entering graphic design and web development world.
Now, I focus most of my time on graphic design and web development. I love to learn, so I am always teaching myself new programs and ideas. I graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelors of Arts in Visual Arts, with a minor in Psychology.
I worked a typical 9-5 for a few years but found that it never satisfied my artistic itch and need to create. In 2022, I took the leap and quit my job to pursue what I love. My husband, Jeremy, and I started a business, JS Consulting and Marketing, and combined our skillsets and passions to fuel our careers. This past year has been a whirlwind of excitement and challenges, but we wouldn’t want it any other way.
We’ve worked with a variety of clients, including the universities, commercial real estate firms, architecture firms, Arlington, Alexandria, and Fairfax County Firefighters unions, political campaigns, numerous non-profits, and more.
